Widgets zijn een nieuw systeem in WordPress om een sidebar makkelijk en dynamisch te vullen met inhoud. Omdat het systeem relatief nieuw is zijn er nog niet veel verschillende widgets ter vervanging van oldschool sidebar functionaliteit. Ik miste bijvoorbeeld een myStatus widget. Gelukkig is het heel makkelijk om die te maken (ik heb maar 1 regel code aan hoeven passen in de voorbeeld-widget). Zoek je zelf toevallig net een myStatus widget? Download hem vanaf hier:
